As with other aspects of the game, the DMD has been greatly enhanced and creates fun and exciting maps to customize and play - there are almost as many DMD maps uploaded for players to play as there are user-maps. In all the versions, there is also a random map generator - the Dial Map Device (DMD) in Creeper World 3. For CW3, there is already nearly 300 user-contributed maps. For the earliest CW1, there is now over 6,000 user maps. There is a moderately interesting story line contained in the main story missions, but the primary attraction is in user-contributed content (maps) that add many, many hours of play to the game.
